At more than double the factory core thickness, it moves thermal energy into the airstream faster and keeps coolant outlet temperatures consistent across extended sessions. The enlarged in-tank transmission cooler adds another layer of drivetrain protection - dropping transmission fluid temps under hard use and reducing heat-related wear when you push the C5 hardest.--Installation is complete right out of the box. Transmission line fittings for every C5 model year and new rubber mounting bushings are included - eliminating the adapter-hunting and leaking connections that owners of high-mileage C5s know well.
