The factory radiator on the 2009+ Ram 1500 4.7L/5.7L V8 is sized to meet OE cost targets, not to hold up under sustained towing or heat-soak conditions. The Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Radiator increases core volume by 48%, tube area by 56%, and fin area by 75%, rejecting 17.7% more heat than the factory unit and keeping coolant temperatures in check when the truck is working hardest.----A reinforced stamped header plate adds strength at the tank-to-core junction, standing up to repeated heat cycling and coolant pressure where thinner stock plates flex and crack over time. The radiator is also built to clear the Mishimoto Catch Can, so both can be run together without clearance issues or custom fabrication.----The kit includes the radiator, installation hardware, magnetic drain plug, and grommets, everything needed for a complete swap.
