How Easy is it to Install?
The BetterBodies Motorsport Porsche 911 997 Turbo Lip + Rockers + Roof Kit is engineered for OEM-style fitment, with every component molded to match the exact body lines of the 2007–2012 997 Turbo and Turbo S models. Each part features pre-marked mounting points for precise alignment. The front lip and side rockers include pre-installed 3M automotive-grade double-sided tape along with mounting hardware for a secure installation. The roof component is designed for seamless integration and mounts cleanly without compromising factory seals or body structure. All polyurethane parts require standard body shop prep (scuff, prime, paint) if you plan to color match to your Porsche. Skilled DIY installers can complete the installation, but we recommend professional fitting to ensure perfect alignment and finish. If the kit is in stock, it ships within 24–48 hours; if backordered, please allow 3–8 business days for dispatch.

This three-piece package delivers a dramatic visual upgrade to the Porsche 997 Turbo. What is Polyurethane?
All parts in this kit are made from our proprietary GT3TEK polyurethane blend, offering superior flexibility and durability. Unlike fiberglass or ABS plastic, polyurethane can flex under pressure and return to its original shape, making it far more resistant to cracks, chips, and breakage. This flexibility also allows for minor adjustments during installation, ensuring OEM-quality fitment and long-term resilience.

Performance Capabilities
While primarily designed for aesthetics, this kit also offers aerodynamic benefits. The front lip reduces lift by directing airflow more efficiently under the car, the side rockers smooth airflow along the vehicle’s flanks, and the roof component can contribute to improved airflow management at higher speeds. Together, these upgrades enhance stability and driver confidence without introducing unnecessary drag.

Will it Crack or Break?
ABSOLUTELY NOT - Polyurethane is impact-resistant and designed to handle real-world driving conditions. It can flex when making contact with road debris, steep driveways, or curbs, then return to its original form. Most impacts leave only cosmetic marks that can be refinished if desired. Adding scrape guards to the front lip is recommended for added protection in high-contact areas.
