How Easy is it to Install?
The BetterBodies Motorsport Porsche 911 997 Turbo Lip + Diffuser Kit is designed for OEM-style fitment, ensuring both components match the exact factory body lines of the 2007–2012 997 Turbo and Turbo S models. Each piece is molded with pre-marked mounting points for accurate positioning. The front lip includes pre-installed 3M automotive-grade double-sided tape and mounting hardware for a secure fit, while the rear diffuser integrates seamlessly with the factory bumper using original mounting points. All polyurethane parts require standard body shop prep (scuff, prime, paint) if you want to color match to your Porsche. Skilled DIY installers can complete the job, but professional installation is recommended to achieve perfect alignment and finish. If the kit is in stock, it ships within 24–48 hours; if backordered, please allow 3–8 business days for dispatch.

Appearance
This two-piece kit enhances the Porsche 997 Turbo with a purposeful, motorsport-inspired look. The front lip lowers and sharpens the front end for a more aggressive stance, while the rear diffuser adds a high-performance edge to the back of the car. What is Polyurethane?
Crafted from our proprietary GT3TEK polyurethane blend, both the lip and diffuser offer exceptional flexibility and durability. Unlike fiberglass or ABS plastic, polyurethane can flex under stress and return to its original shape, making it highly resistant to cracks, chips, and breakage. This resilience also makes installation easier, allowing for fine adjustments to achieve an OEM-quality fit.

Performance Capabilities
In addition to enhancing aesthetics, these components provide functional aerodynamic benefits. The front lip reduces front-end lift by optimizing airflow beneath the car, while the diffuser improves rear airflow separation for greater stability at high speeds. Together, they help create a more planted and confident feel during spirited driving.

Will it Crack or Break?
ABSOLUTELY NOT - Polyurethane is designed to withstand the realities of real-world driving. It can flex when encountering steep driveways, curbs, or road debris, then return to its original form without structural failure. Most impacts leave only minor cosmetic marks, which can be refinished if desired. Adding scrape guards to the front lip is recommended for added protection in high-contact areas.
