How Easy is it to Install?
The BetterBodies Motorsport Porsche 911 997.2 Lip + Rockers Kit is precision-molded for OEM-style fitment, tailored to the factory body lines of the 2009–2012 997.2 generation. Both components come with pre-marked mounting points for accurate placement and alignment. The front lip and side rockers include pre-installed 3M automotive-grade double-sided tape and all necessary mounting hardware to make the installation process straightforward. Standard body shop prep (scuffing, priming, and painting) is required if you intend to color-match the parts to your Porsche. While experienced DIY installers may be able to complete the installation, professional installation is strongly recommended for best results. If the kit is in stock, it ships within 24–48 hours; if backordered, please allow 3–8 business days to ship.

Appearance
This two-piece kit enhances the Porsche 997.2 with a more aggressive and streamlined look. The front lip gives the nose a sharper, lowered stance, while the side rockers visually elongate and lower the side profile of the vehicle, making it look wider and more planted. Together, they transform the 997.2 into a sleeker, motorsport-inspired variant without compromising its factory elegance.

What is Polyurethane?
Both components are crafted from our proprietary GT3TEK polyurethane blend, which combines extreme durability with the flexibility needed for real-world driving. Unlike fiberglass or ABS, polyurethane resists cracking and chipping by flexing under pressure and returning to its original shape. It also makes installation easier by allowing minor adjustments for OEM-quality fitment.

Performance Capabilities
This kit not only upgrades appearance but also improves aerodynamics. The front lip reduces front-end lift by guiding airflow under the chassis more efficiently, while the side rockers stabilize lateral airflow for smoother handling. These enhancements provide subtle but noticeable improvements in stability, especially during spirited driving or highway cruising.

Will it Crack or Break?
ABSOLUTELY NOT - Polyurethane is known for its resilience. Whether it’s speed bumps, steep driveways, or road debris, the material is flexible enough to absorb impact without cracking or breaking. Minor scrapes or scuffs may occur but can easily be refinished. We recommend installing scrape guards on the front lip for added peace of mind.
