How Easy is it to Install?
The BetterBodies Motorsport Porsche 911 997.1 Lip + Rockers + Diffuser Kit is engineered for OEM-style fitment, with every component molded to match the exact factory body lines of the 2005–2008 997.1 generation. Each part features pre-marked mounting points for precise alignment. The front lip and side rockers come with pre-installed 3M automotive-grade double-sided tape and the necessary mounting hardware for a secure fit, while the rear diffuser integrates directly with factory mounting locations. All polyurethane parts require standard body shop prep (scuff, prime, paint) if you plan to color match to your Porsche. Skilled DIY installers can handle the job, but professional installation is recommended for optimal alignment and finish. If the kit is in stock, it will ship within 24–48 hours; if backordered, please allow 3–8 business days for dispatch.

Appearance
This three-piece aero package transforms the Porsche 997.1 into a more aggressive and performance-oriented version of itself. The front lip lowers and sharpens the nose, the side rockers visually extend the profile for a sleeker and more planted look, and the rear diffuser adds a motorsport-inspired finish to the back end. What is Polyurethane?
All components in this kit are made from our proprietary GT3TEK polyurethane blend, delivering unmatched durability and flexibility. Unlike fiberglass or ABS plastic, polyurethane can flex under stress and return to its original form, making it highly resistant to cracking, chipping, or breaking. This flexibility also makes installation easier by allowing for fine adjustments, ensuring OEM-quality fitment.

Performance Capabilities
While designed for aesthetics, this kit also offers aerodynamic benefits. The front lip helps reduce lift by directing airflow under the car, the side rockers streamline air along the vehicle’s flanks, and the diffuser improves rear airflow separation for better stability. The combination results in a more balanced and confident feel during spirited driving without adding unnecessary drag.

Will it Crack or Break?
ABSOLUTELY NOT - Polyurethane is highly impact-resistant, able to flex on contact with road debris, curbs, or steep driveways, then return to its original shape. Most impacts leave only cosmetic marks, which can be refinished if desired. Installing scrape guards on the front lip is recommended for added protection in high-contact areas.
