Unlike soft roll-up covers, the hard folding design uses rigid aluminum or fiberglass panels that lock in place — protecting bed contents from theft and from weather without permanently closing off bed access. They fold in thirds (or quarters) to give you full bed access when you need it.

Panel Construction

Extruded aluminum panels with powder coat finish are the most common and most durable construction. Fiberglass panels offer a higher-gloss finish but are heavier. ABS plastic panels are lightweight but less dent-resistant. All three seal effectively in most climates.
